Gochujang Chinese Noodles
Ranking 7/10 | increasing my spice tolerance
I hear you—how can a noodle dish be both Chinese and use Gochujang, a famously Korean sauce (or spice i’m not actually sure what it is) at the same time? The answer is simple: reject semantics.
This is actually quite a heavenly dish composed of a nice spice base (Gochujang) and sweet notes (brown sugar & mirin), making the noodles both slightly sticky yet deliciously slurpy at the same time. Highly recommend for anyone else whose spice tolerance is worse than the British’s during the glorious times of their empire.
Also, since it tastes like more than just one flavour, it can be quite impressive to people who are unaware of how to cook and will thereby temporarily give off the impression that you are a good chef, despite not being one whatsoever at all.
